Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets. The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying an entirely new one. One can upgrade a trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the previous trinket but it also comes with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade. Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they are no longer useful which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold. Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the best-in slot items for each class are upgraded first, followed by their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they won't be replacing in the near future (such as rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. For example when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and helm.
